The Cutting Edge is a custom 45′ Hatteras, customized by Captain Quinton Dieterle, designed for comfort and performance. It features a large cockpit with live wells, a fish box built into the bulkhead, and an air-conditioned salon with seating, a TV, and a stereo for guest enjoyment. Captain Quinton “Q” Dieterle, a Miami native with a lifetime of fishing experience in the local waters, the Keys, and the Bahamas, has been operating the Cutting Edge for over 26 years. He honed his skills from a young age, fishing with his father and later with the legendary Captain John B. Dudas, where they revolutionized kite and live bait fishing techniques for billfish and other offshore species.

Frequently Asked Questions

What happens to the fish we catch?

All fish caught during your charter are yours to keep and will be expertly cut and bagged for you at the end of the trip at no additional charge. We recommend arriving at least 15 minutes before your scheduled charter start time. Please note that late arrivals cannot extend the return time of your trip.

What is your cancellation and refund policy?

Deposits for single-day trips are non-refundable within 72 hours of the charter, unless unsafe weather conditions prevent the trip from taking place. For Bahamas trips, all deposits are non-refundable once dates are set, unless the captain deems weather conditions unsafe. Captain Q makes the final decision on refunds for reasons other than weather.
