Alaska's Log Cabin Resort and RV Park offers an "Off the Beaten Path Alaska" experience, providing a quiet and secluded retreat nestled among original growth spruce and hemlock trees. They offer a variety of accommodations, including Spectacular Sea Side Suites, a Log Home, Rustic Beach Cabins, and an RV Park, all serving as a home base for exploring the seascape, landscape, sightseeing, or fishing in the Alexander Archipelago. The Seaside Suites and Log Home feature TVs, bathrooms, and separate bedrooms, while the Rustic Beach Cabins include a microwave, a deck with a gas grill, and access to a common bathroom, shower, and laundry facility, which is also used by RV park guests. Their philosophy centers on ensuring guests have a successful, safe, and happy vacation, with a goal to exceed expectations by allowing groups to mix and match activities, such as combining fishing with cave exploration and kayaking. All packages include transportation to and from Ketchikan Airport via plane and ferry, with pick-up at the Klawock airport, and provide a continental breakfast and a sack lunch. For guided charters, fish are cleaned, cut, vacuum-packed, boxed, and frozen, while for self-guided trips, the catch is vacuum-packed, boxed, and frozen. They also provide crab pots for self-guided trips and assist with setting crab and shrimp pots on guided trips. Packages do not include fishing or hunting licenses, rental cars, or additional costs due to foul weather, and sales tax is collected on all packages.
