Captain Dan's Around The Island Tours

Pontoon boat nature cruises since 2007. Search for wild ponies, dolphin, bald eagles, and other local wildlife. Talk about local history, culture and modern life on the islands with your guide. Our “Around the Island” tour views over 19 miles of Assateague coastline, while circumnavigating Chincoteague Island. We see the wild ponies over 90% of the time, Dolphin about 50% of the time (June-October). Our season runs from April 1st to Late-November, 7 days a week, weather permitting. Our “medium” sized boats are USCG certified for up to 16 passengers (see website for details).
