In Reel Life Fishing LLC - Youth Fishing Lessons & Parties

Our fun and engaging party events and learning programs teach fresh water fishing fundamentals in a safe, team-focused environment. People of all skill levels will explore techniques, practice conservation, and learn water safety while making fishing an adventure! Lessons and Fin-Tastic adventures are conveniently hosted at state and municipal public parks in Middlesex, Monmouth and Mercer counties. We aim for convenient drop-off and pick-up and will accommodate rescheduling when possible. Email or call us directly if you live outside the area and would like IRL to host your next event.

Can I stay with my angler during a lesson?

Yes, parents and guardians are welcome to stay with their angler during lessons at no extra charge. If you are interested in assisting, please inform the instructor beforehand.

Do you fish from a boat or land?

Currently, In Reel Life Fishing's courses focus on freshwater fishing and are conducted from land in safe, accessible locations within Monmouth, Mercer, and Middlesex counties. They do not offer saltwater courses at this time.

Can I keep the fish I catch?

In Reel Life Fishing strictly follows a catch and release program, adhering to all NJDEP Fish and Wildlife rules and regulations. Therefore, any fish caught are not kept.

When do lessons begin and what is the weather policy?

Lessons are available from late April through the end of October. Specific dates and availability can be found on their registration page. They also offer flexibility for rescheduling due to weather or other circumstances.

Lessons are designed for all skill levels and ages, welcoming everyone to participate. In Reel Life Fishing fosters an inclusive, team-oriented atmosphere that emphasizes respect for both people and the environment.
